Inverness

It was basically a big jungle gym of old stone one could climb over and scramble through. Although it was in shambles it still possessed a grandeur that some of the more touristy castles have lost. When one has to use their imagination to reconstruct the building it becomes more impressive than anything that could be rebuilt and populated with wax-figures. Not to diss the wax-figures, they are cool, but this was by far my favorite castle that I have visited. Posted by Picasa
