Coming soon...

I am planning on posting some pictures of my amazing stay in Toronto with my amazing friend Abby. We saw Wicked and Happy Feet and went shopping in China-town. This week has been the most hectic week of my life. All I have to do is get through the next two days and then I can begin to live again. (pant, pant) The play that Paige and I have been working on for the past month or so is going to be performed Wed and Thurs night, it starts at 7:30. I am also going to be in chapel today. Come and watch if you feel so inclined.

Today is a Beautiful Day

Isn't it funny that something as simple as sunshine can have such a great impact on your mood?

Word of the day: Peregrination
per‧e‧gri‧na‧tion [per-i-gruh-ney-shuhn] –noun
1. travel from one place to another, esp. on foot.
2. a course of travel; journey.

There are two squirrels that live in our back yard. A grey squirrel and a black squirrel. I've named the black one Beatrix and grey one Potter. We often see them running as they make their peregrinations from one end of the housing strip to the other carrying acorns in their mouths. All of the backyards are seperated by fences and we all have our own little tree. I imagine it looks much different to the squirrels; all the yards are connected by the branches that spread from tree to tree.

Pictures of Hamilton

This is where I live! Well, not here, in this park, but you get the idea.

Unfortunately you can't go swimming... for multiple reasons it appears.

Dundurn Castle

Canada's version of a castle: built in the 1830's, more of a mansion really. The outside was actually pretty ugly compared to the inside which I unfortunately don't have any pictures of.

This was an entire building devoted to Cock-fights. Pitting roosters against each other to the death for those of you unfamiliar with the term. I guess they were really into it. The building was pretty large. Posted by Picasa
