Bath

When the Romans invaded England in around 43AD they built buildings similar to the ones they had in Italy. They converted the hotsprings into these Baths. Naked Romans of yore used to bathe here. As time passed new buildings were built over the old roman stuff which is why this bath is sunk so low. This was actually the level of the ground back in the day. Anyway, that was a long process to simply say that the bath, the tiled floor around the bath and the base of the columns are roman but the rest was added when it was found in the early 1900's. It looks good though. Georgian architecture looks similar to Roman. not that I know that much about it but there are certainly a lot of pillars and columns.
