Wally needs a new suit for an upcoming dance,

Wally needs a nursemaid, someone always at hand and beck, to clean up the messes he makes all the time and to make runs for him,

I can't wait for reading break

Sigh, I have felt really flustered lately trying to get all my work caught up. I am really looking forward to the long weekend. Mel and I are planning to explore downtown Hamilton on Thursday. I've spent most of my time here for almost 4 years and I still feel that I know very little of the city. I'm really looking forward to it and if we have any half-decent pictures I'll be sure to post them. I've found it to be true all over the world that people rarely take advantage of the attractions their own city has to offer them. The majority of people I talked to in Athens had never even been to see the Acropolis. I mean, they could see it from all over the city but they had never actually gone to it. I 've been to Niagra Falls, but I'd like to see a little more of what Southern Ontario has to offer.

So, we had fun at the zoo....

Wally really enjoyed getting in touch with the more primative side of wildlife. I was hoping we'd get to see some penguins but instead we just saw polar bears. Actually, polar-bears and penguins don't even live on the same continent in real life but in zoos they can come together.



So, basically all day today I've been fooling around on my blog instead of studying. Having more important things to do seems to have re-kindled my interest in blogging. Hopefully I will be able to keep this up! 

The Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday and it was amazing. I thought I'd just post pictures of the animals I enjoyed the most. First is the mommy and baby orangatang.

Hippo. He was very fat and reminded me of our dog, Wilbur.
The Jaguars or Panthers. These guys looked like they wanted to rip our faces off if they got the chance.
